#7. FSABVA: TRAILER

A rough trailer for FSABVA I created during the pandemic. During this time, the song I used called “Dancing in my Room” by 347Aidan was trending on TikTok - a soundtrack that I felt represented my own feelings as well as the world’s general desire to lean into the lighthearted during a period of mass confusion, depression and isolation. I wanted to juxtapose the sense of safety and fun that Val felt when she was hanging out and dancing in her room with Julian, against the hostile environment, as well as the traumatic and humiliating memories attached to being stuck in the cult.
